This is a one-time service event in which Southern California Shredding will set up a date to arrive and destroy all of your confidential business and personal documents or items you can watch every step of the process to monitor your security and a Southern California Shredding team member will explain each step as it occurs.

On-Site Shredding Service

Southern California Shredding will pre-arrange a specific series of dates to accommodate your needs. This might be weekly, bi-weekly, every 4 weeks or customized to your requirements. Southern California Shredding will arrive to destroy your personal and confidential documents based on your individualized schedule.

Drop Off Services (Most Economical)

Drop-off shredding service is a great choice for those customers who have smaller quantities of material that they want to shred securely. Through this service, SCS helps residents and business owner save money, stay green, and keep their information safe. Simply bring your material into our facility for shredding. Our team will unload the material from your vehicle and take it directly to our shredding truck where you can witness its immediate destruction.

Hard Drive Destruction

Just erasing your files isn’t enough. Southern California Shredding understands that the shredding of a hard drive is the best method of destroying recorded data. The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Special Publication 800-88 “Guidelines for Media Sanitization” agrees that the shredding of a hard drive is the best method to assure your recorded data has been ultimately destroyed. Recyclable Material Transportation

Southern California Shredding is committed to being environmentally friendly, and will take any additional non shredded paper you have to be recycled as part of the services we provide you at no additional charge. This might include bulk mail, extra photocopies, etc.

For businesses that are not interested in using our environmentally friendly mobile document shredding service, we can provide a recycling service of picking up non shredded paper and transporting to a nearby recycling facility.

Document Imaging

Whether you are a homeowner with years-worth of documents in storage or a business that wants to streamline its operations, document imaging by SCS can help you eliminate paper waste while retaining electronic copies of important records. With document imaging, our staff will pick up your materials, transport them to our facility where the hard paper copy documents are scanned into a computer system and stored in digital format for easy archiving. You can review the information on the digital copy we provide to ensure that files have transferred as intended. Then, with your approval, SCS will shred the paper versions. From the moment we collect your documents to the time we destroy them on your behalf, your materials will be protected using NAID certified best practices.
